This all started with the two of us and a shared love for gothic style, darker décor, old-world details, and the kinds of unusual pieces we always wished were easier to find.

What began as us making things for ourselves slowly grew into something much bigger. We’ve always believed darker design doesn’t belong to one season. Gothic style can be elegant, functional, strange, beautiful, and part of everyday life.

Everything we make is handcrafted by us in our workshop using traditional scroll saw techniques. We don’t use lasers or CNC machines. Each piece is cut, sanded, assembled, finished, and handled by us from start to finish.

We also like making things that are meant to be used, not just looked at. That might be a phone stand, bookmark, tarot holder, altar shelf, ornament, framed piece, or something completely new that we decided to try because the idea wouldn’t leave us alone.

That’s really what Grimm Designs is about: making useful, unusual pieces with a little darkness, a little character, and a lot of hands-on work behind them.
